    Step back in time on the Anne Springs Close Greenway! Bring a picnic lunch and join us at the Dairy Barn Entrance on Saturday June 9th from 10am until 2pm. On Sunday, stop by the Grist Mill from 1pm to 3pm and learn where the “Mill” in Fort Mill comes from!

    Demonstrations and activities including:

    • Butter Churning

    • Carolina Clay

    • Dip Candles

    • Old-Fashioned Games

    • Black Powder Demonstrations by the

    • New Acquisition Militia

    • Guided Revolutionary War hikes at 10:30 am and at 12 pm (meet at Faries-Coltharp Cabin)

    June 10th 1 pm - 3 pm

    Grist Mill, Steele Street Access

    Activities Include:

    • Guided hikes along Steele Creek to the site of the mill pond dam

    • Guided hike to Grist Mill representation where costumed docents will explain how the mill worked and why it was such an important part of Fort Mill history.

    • Hands-on activities for children
